A considerable number of people are choosing eBay as their full time income option. When making your eBay business, it\’s required to have a clear goal and to be sure if you really want it to be your fulltime business. You must also set up your business plan, and what type of products you\’re going to sell on eBay.

If you\’re selling your products on eBay, start selling one or two items only; it\’s important to learn the consumer behavior in your niche market. It\’s also imperative to add clear photos and interesting descriptions of your product, in order to attract a substantial number of potential customers. Generally, you also have to conduct a research and check eBay if there\’s a high demand for your items.

If you started your eBay business, it is a smart move to begin selling just a few items and learn the behavior of the market. It\’s necessary to understand your buyers and adjust your advertising strategy according to their needs and desires. So it is truly a very important task to conduct a consumer research, as it will provide you the urgent information regarding your niche market.

In selling your items you need to add clear photos of your products and interesting outlines that details all the benefits they can expect from your product. Posting the best pictures can attract a substantial amount of possible clients and increase your chances of making a sale. So before you add a product on your eBay auction, do not forget to take the best footage of your items.

It is also necessary to find the prime source for your items. Most eBay entrepreneur depends on drop-shipping companies because it is more practical and you aren\’t required to have your own inventory. But to find the best drop shipping company you want to use a credible dropshipping directory like Worldwide Brands to help select the best drop-shipping company for your internet enterprise.

Much like Shakespeare\’s Prince Hamlet exclaims, \”Alas, poor Yorick! I knew him, Horatio.\”, Connecticut auctioneer found himself in a similar face-to-skull encounter recently. Perhaps not quite as dramatic has the play Hamlet, it is not every day that an auctioneer finds human remains among the treasures being inventoried for auction.

Paul Stansel, a professional auctioneer is requested by attorneys to help families in liquidating estates and work with those looking to downsize. In just one of these situations, Paul was asked by an attorney to help an elderly client in inventorying years of treasures gathered over the years so the items could be put up for auction.

As Paul inventoried the basement, he found among family personal items, a wealth of antique medical instruments as the client\’s deceased dad had been an MD for many years. As Paul was ending his inventory of the items in the basement, he opened a wooden box and discovered a human skull inside. Paul knew this was not some fake Halloween skull, but rather was the real deal. The skull was yellowed and dirty. The jaw had been shattered and had teeth missing, much like you would expect in one of those TV crime shows.

Even though the assumption was that the skull was part of the items from the clients\’ medical father, there was always the possibility that it could instead have been potential evidence in a long past crime. As a professional auctioneer, Paul was aware of the law in the state of Connecticut regarding his human skull discovery. He was required by law to call in the local law enforcement.

Paul said, \”The elderly client was home when I made my discovery\”. Paul told him what was discovered and contacted the clients\’ attorney to let him know that law enforcement would need to be contacted. The lawyer contacted the local authorities while the auctioneer reassured the elderly client who was understandable shaken to realize that human remains had been stored in his basement for decades.

Five police officers were soon on the scene. After questioning Paul and the homeowner and spending a few hours going through the basement, the police decided that the skull was probably an old medical exhibit, but were still required to take it to the State Medical Examiner\’s Office for further investigation.

State laws are generally in agreement that the local authorities or coroner must be contacted immediately upon discovering human remains. Additionally, any work or activity in the area must cease immediately so as not to further disrupt the area. And in some states such as Utah, it is a crime to fail to report the discovery of human remains expeditiously or if you move the remains or destroy them.

When Paul relates the story of the found skull, listeners always ask if Paul auctioned the skull. Of course he did not and responds that he is just happy that he knew enough to follow the law so his client and his own auction business were saved from a messy criminal investigation.

Auctioneer Paul Stansel is known as the CT Auction Guy. He is a professional auctioneer offering live as well as online auctions. He travels throughout CT, NY and NJ, where he has conducted numerous successful estate & personal property auctions, benefit & fundraising events, and commercial/business auctions. You can register for upcoming auctions on his website.
